He served as on active duty for 14 years and as a Reserve Officer for an additional 12 years before retiring at the rank of Colonel. He developed a deep understanding of operational logistics through a variety of command and staff assignments, culminating in work as senior advisor to the Chief of Supply and Maintenance at Forces Command. Additionally, Mr. Lowman served as an Information Operations Officer within U. S. Strategic Command and Director of Strategic Communications for U. S. Army South.
While serving in the Reserves, Mr. Lowman embarked on a consulting career with Booz Allen Hamilton that led to additional work with L3 Communications and The Gallup Organization. His clients included the Joint Information Operations Warfare Command, Forces Command G3, Forces Command G4, the Army Reserve Command’s Transformation Integration Office, the Air Force Central Command and the Department of the Treasury.
Mr. Lowman holds an MS in International Affairs from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
