L2NL has been an Information Warfare Research Project (IWRP) Consortium member since 2020, Other Transaction Authority (OTA).

The IWRP engages in industry and academia to develop and mature technologies in the field of Information Warfare and enhance Navy and Marin Corps mission effectiveness, focusing on underlying technologies that advance information warfare capabilities through a consortium that can support research, development, and prototyping.

N2NL currently has a solution “in the IWRP basket.” The basket is a mechanism used by the consortium when the Government sees value in a proposed project but cannot purchase it based on funding constraints at the time of evaluation. Proposals selected for the basket can be held for up to 36 months and is available for subsequent award in the event of emerging urgent needs, interest in the proposal by a different funding sponsor, end-of-year sweep-up funds or subsequent year funding availability.
